The Pug is an ancient and consistently popular breed throughout its history. According to the official version, the country of origin of the breed is China. Scientists suggest that it originated in the 5th century BC and descended from miniature mastiffs. They appeared in Europe in the 16th century, thanks to Dutch sailors. It is a wonderful companion dog for city dwellers. Pugs are friendly towards family members, strangers, and other animals. These dogs easily adapt to your lifestyle, are funny and sociable pets. They do not need long walks and are suitable for inexperienced owners. Are prone to obesity, therefore a balanced diet is required.
