A dog is a friend of man, as many millions of people around the world believe, who cannot imagine their life without these four-legged companions , loyal and loving. The dog has become a symbol of devotion for a reason - these creatures are so attached to their owners that they are ready to sacrifice my life for them. Intelligence development in dogs is comparable to that of two-year-old toddlers. Dogs can memorize about 250 commands, expressed in gestures and words, count to 5 and solve elementary math problems. They are able to hear ultrasound that is inaccessible to the ear person. Hearing in dogs is generally 10 times sharper than in humans. They have an excellent sense of smell - they smell 100,000 times better than humans. Scientists identify 5 main character traits in dogs - playfulness, curiosity, tendency to persecute, sociability and aggressiveness. They can't give chocolate, as it affects their heart and central nervous system, they also have poor color differentiation. Dogs are the only animals able to recognize human emotions and empathize with their masters. Dog nose prints are unique - no two are exactly the same in the world. There are 703 purebred dog breeds in the world.
