gives a name to the robin, makes it easy to spot. Not only for humans, but for other robins as well. Seeing another similar bib, this bird
jumps to defend its territory. Then a duel begins, in which the birds climb higher and higher along the branches, each of which tries
put yourself above the other to show your bright chest. Often the duel ends there, but in some cases it goes from demonstration
to direct confrontation. The birds fight in a fight that even raises dust. These encounters are not limited to males: females
also have red plumage and defend their territories, which both genders also declare through singing. Unlike other birds, robins do
it is all year round. In autumn and winter, everyone is for himself: males and females defend separate territories. At the end of winter, they form a pair that
only this breeding season will last.
