This sea shell was found by us on the beaches of the Algarve, in the south of Portugal. Such a sea shell is filled with heat from the sun and the energy of the Atlantic Ocean, it is thin and light. By placing the sea shell on your ear, you can hear the sound of the ocean. The drawing is painted with acrylic paints, made by hand.

Anchor - a specially shaped cast, forged or welded structure designed to hold a ship, submarine or other floating object in one place due to adhesion to the ground, connected to the object of restraint by means of an anchor chain or cable. By design, the anchors are divided into anchors with fixed arms and anchors with swivel arms, according to the method of fastening on the ship after the vessel is taken off the anchor - into overwhelming (with rods) and retraction (without rods). Since the beginning of the 20s of the last century, many types of anchors with increased holding strength have been developed. Some anchors (Boldt's anchor) weigh about 30 tons and are intended for the largest warships - aircraft carriers. By designation, the anchors (in the bow) - to keep the ship in an anchorage ("at rest", long-term anchorage - (in the stern) - are installed by a separate vessel or boat, often on non-navigable aground. , anchor-plow). Dead - for long standing in one place (drilling ships, lighthouses). Roman ship anchor appeared at the end of the 1st millennium BC. in the Mediterranean. The Malay anchor appeared approximately at the turn of the 2nd and 1st millennium BC in the region of the South China Sea. The classical Admiralty became the direct successor of the Roman ship anchor. The British Admiralty itself gave it a start in life in the 20s of the XIX century, and after meticulous tests of various designs. The British Admiralty "blessed" Hall's cast iron anchor - and it was not miscalculated. It is known to what height Her Majesty's British fleet, First Lord of the Admiralty, Sir Winston Churchill, was raised in the 1910s. On his shoulder, Churchill, like any self-respecting sailor, tattooed an image of an anchor. By the way, becoming one of the first politicians with a tattoo.
