Our very beautiful, massive, oval-shaped pendant is created from seashells collected on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, Algarve province, Portugal. The basis for this pendant is the shell of the "Galiotis" mollusk, which is rare in our area. A feature of this mollusk is that it has additional holes in the shell, which are needed to distill water through the gills. Galiotis is a mollusk that is at least 2,500 years old. One individual can produce up to 133 pearls. There are 10 species of this mollusk, most of which are already listed in the Red Book. Due to the pollution of ocean waters, this type of mollusk is gradually disappearing.
