Our souvenir "Birds with a nest" is created from shells that we found on the beaches of the southern region of Portugal - Algarve.

Birds live all over the planet, on all continents. They are found even in the most inaccessible areas of Antarctica. We are not so we often think about them, because they are so familiar that the eye simply does not notice them ... But in vain, because they are truly amazing creatures. By As of the beginning of 2017, 10,672 species of various bird species were known to science. This makes them the most diverse group of the animal world, so it will be interesting to know the facts about them. A hummingbird can eat 2 times more in one day than it own weight. In the wild, birds can live up to 45 years. A titmouse can feed its chicks about 1000 times per day. Wild geese and ducks can endure any frost that generally occurs on Earth. A hawk has 8 times better vision than a human. The largest of all birds of prey is the Andean condor. Birds of prey include about 270 species. The Australian pelican has the longest beak in the world, and this part of the body can reach half a meter in length. The hissing swan has the most feathers - about 25 thousand.
